PDP NWC Holds Closed-Door Meeting with Jonathan to Discuss Party, National Issues

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Tanimu Turaki (SAN), held a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday to deliberate on party and national matters.

Turaki arrived at Jonathan’s office in Maitama, Abuja, around 5:45 pm, accompanied by members of the NWC and selected state chairmen. The delegation was conveyed in about six SUVs.

The meeting is reported to focus on the lingering crisis within the PDP and ongoing efforts by the party leadership to reposition itself ahead of upcoming political engagements.
