The tension stems from Seun’s rejection of comparisons between Wizkid and Fela, insisting that words like “bigger” or “more influential” diminish his father’s legacy. Seun emphasized that Fela’s impact as a political and cultural activist transcends music success and criticized Wizkid’s fans for repeatedly invoking Fela online, describing it as disrespectful.
