Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has reconciled with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, ending a decade-long public feud that has captivated the nation.
The couple, married in 2015, separated less than two years later amid allegations of infidelity, intense public scrutiny, and a bitter child custody battle. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Tonto attributed their reunion to divine intervention, sustained prayers, and humility, emphasising that faith healed what human effort could not.
Describing the restoration as a “divine miracle,” Tonto noted that peace has replaced years of bitterness, broken communication, and conflict. She explained that the renewed relationship is built on forgiveness, humility, and love for their child, encouraging others in similar situations not to lose hope.
Tonto wrote, “After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in… What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child. Every plan of darkness has failed. Stubbornness has bowed. Pride has melted. Love has found its voice again for my child.”
She thanked Churchill for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace, describing their story as a living testimony to the power of faith, mercy, and perseverance. Tonto encouraged those in difficult relationships to keep trusting God, praying, and choosing love, affirming that “God has not abandoned you, and your story is not over.”
The actress concluded her message with gratitude to her spiritual mentor for guiding her, celebrating the restoration as a reminder that God never fails, forgets, or abandons what He starts.
