“Unity Is Bigger Than Ambition” — Kefas Reacts After Landslide APC Ticket Victory

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has secured the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after a decisive victory at the party’s primary election.

Kefas reportedly polled 166,375 votes to defeat former Minister of Transport, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, who managed 4,110 votes.

Speaking after being declared the winner, Kefas described the outcome as a collective win for all members of the party, not just an individual achievement. He stressed that the real work begins now, as the task of leading and rebuilding Taraba State is bigger than personal ambition.

The governor extended a hand of fellowship to his opponents, urging them to put aside differences and work together for the progress of the party and the state.

He also called for unity among party faithful, saying it is necessary to secure victory not only in Taraba but across the national political space. Kefas reaffirmed his commitment to providing leadership that would move the state forward if re-elected.
